The easiest place to start ~ The scaling of this tree,
 Is where I'm most familiar ~ So it begins with me.

I know I'm here and living ~ And where my proofs are filed That I'm my mother's Eldest ~ And my father's Only child.

Most of my ancestors ~ Have left this world behind.
 Some left enticing clues ~ A few I cannot find.

Many of you have helped me ~ Much more than I can say
 By sharing information ~ To help me on my way.

I would like to pass it on ~ Free as a soaring dove~
 This fascinating hobby ~ Is a labor of pure love!
